Curry to Appear on Three Talk Shows

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson guard Stephen Curry will appear on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” Friday night, April 4.

The show will air on NBC Saturday in the early morning from 12:35-1:35 a.m. Curry will be on the show with actress Christina Applegate and comedian Lewis Black.

Curry will also appear on “Charlie Rose” Thursday, April 3. The show is on PBS and will air locally at 11:30 p.m.

Prior to making an appearance on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," Stephen  will visit the "CBS Early Show" Friday morning from  7-9 a.m.

Curry was recently named a finalist for the John R. Wooden Award, the most coveted individual honor in college basketball. The sophomore from Charlotte, N.C., was named second-team All-America by The Associated Press, Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News after ranking fourth nationally in scoring with an average of 25.9 points per game and setting an NCAA single-season record for three-point field goals with 162.

The 2008 SoCon Player of the Year, Curry also ranked among national leaders in three-pointers per game (4.5/2nd) and free-throw percentage (.894/9th). He burst onto the national scene by scoring 128 points in four NCAA Tournament games, including three straight 30 point performances (Gonzaga 40, Georgetown 30, Wisconsin 33) in leading the Wildcats to their first Elite Eight appearance since 1969.
