DURHAM, N.C. - In the final meet of his collegiate career, senior Alex Hoyt set a new personal-best time in the 5,000-meter run at the Duke Twilight over the weekend at Wallace Wade Stadium on the campus of Duke University.

Hoyt, who was running unattached, tripped the tape in 14:57.26, which was the fourth-fastest time in school history at 5,000-meters and gave Hoyt a fourth-place finish in the event.

Also finishing in the top ten was freshman Charlie Schmitt, who ran unattached and brought home a tenth-place finish in a time of 15:13.62.
