Wildcat Golf Team 13th after Second Round of Spring Hill Suites Intercollegiate

FLORENCE, S.C. - Davidson junior
Bobby Urso is tied for 12th place, and the Wildcats are tied for 13th after two rounds of the Spring Hill Suites Intercollegiate at the Country Club of South Carolina.
Urso shot a 71-69-140 through the first 36 holes of the tournament to lead Davidson. Freshman
John Skeadas, playing in his first collegiate tournament, shot a 2-under-par 70 to lead the Wildcats in the first round and followed that with a 73 to stand 23rd overall with a two-round total of 143.
The Wildcats are one stroke behind Appalachian State and four shots behind two teams that are tied for 10th. Sixteen teams are competing in the event, including eight members of the Southern Conference.
Christopher Rollins posted a two-round score of 148, while
Jackson Taylor and Walker Allen each posted 152.
The third and final round of the tournament is slated for Tuesday.
