HAMPTON, Va. – Vitaly Radsky earned the lone decision in Davidson’s favor, as the Wildcats suffered an opening round defeat to Pitt-Johnstown, 43-3 in Friday morning wrestling action at the 30th annual Virginia Duals in the Hampton Coliseum. Davidson will next face Millersville today at 1 p.m. in the consolation bracket.
Pitt-Johnstown (0-4), the nation’s fifth-ranked Division II team, earned four pins, a major decision and three decisions en route to the victory.
UPJ opened a 6-0 lead after Ryan Link scored a narrow 8-5 decision over Davidson (0-7) senior
Ben Altman at 125 pounds and Shane Valko scored an 11-5 decision over junior
Alex Radsky.

Vitaly Radsky halved the lead with a 4-2 decision over Adam Whetstone, but UPJ swept the remaining bouts. Ryan McIntyre (149), Steve Makin (174) and Patrick Walsh (184) all won by falls.
