DAVIDSON, N.C. – Two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year and former Davidson men's basketball standout Jake Cohen will play for the Phoenix Suns' Summer League squad in Las Vegas July 12-22.
In addition to leading the Wildcats to back-to-back Southern Conference Tournament titles and NCAA Tournament appearances, Cohen is the first Wildcat to earn consecutive conference player of the year honors since Stephen Curry (2006-09).
Davidson's all-time leader in blocks (197) and starts (123), Cohen concluded his standout career ranked among the school's Top-10 in points (1,795/6th), rebounds (747/9th) field-goals made (611/7th), field-goals attempted (1260/6th), free-throws made (451/2nd), free-throws attempted (560/5th), free-throw percentage (.805/T-9th) and games played (131/4th).
A native of Berwyn, Pa., Cohen recorded double figures 97 times and reached the 20-point plateau 21 times, including a career-high 32 points in Davidson's 75-59 win at SoCon rival College of Charleston Feb. 14, 2013. Against third-seeded Marquette in the second round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament, the 6-10 forward led all scorers with a game-high 20 points.

The NBA Summer League 2013 in Las Vegas will feature 22 teams competing in a 61-game schedule from July 12-22 at the Thomas & Mack Center and COX Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
This summer's event will feature the debut of a tournament style schedule that will crown the first ever NBA Summer League Champion on Monday, July 22. Teams will compete in three preliminary round games from July 12-16 before being seeded in a tournament running through the Championship Game on July 22. Each team is guaranteed to play at least five games.
