Women's Basketball Has Another Solid Camp Season

DAVIDSON, N.C. — Head Coach Michele Savage and the Davidson College women's basketball team recently concluded their third annual girls basketball camp.
Campers and staff alike had a GREAT week. Everyone left campus with some new skills and a few new friends. Current players Hannah Early (left) and Mel Giegerich (right, below) were two players who helped the campers develop their skills as well as showed the campers how to have a little fun during the week.
Davidson is coming off a great 2012-13 season in which it went 22-13 and reached its second straight postseason appearance, and third overall, with a trip to the Women's NIT. The Wildcats netted the program's first postseason victory with a first round win at Old Dominion. They also reached the Southern Conference Tournament final for the second time in program history, while finishing second during the regular season with a 16-4 mark, second-best in school history.
The 'Cats gear up for another successful season for the 2013-14 campaign in August, so be sure to keep up with the Wildcats all year long!
