DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson head wrestling coach Bobby Patnesky has been appointed to the NCAA Wrestling Committee, as recently announced.
Patnesky, who became the second most winningest coach in Davidson Wrestling history with a 22-18 win over Coker, will become one of the newest additions to the committee. His appointment begins September 1 and will run through August 2019.
"It's a tremendous honor to have been selected to the NCAA Wrestling Committee," said Patnesky. "Wrestling has been a huge part of my life, and I look forward to contributing to the committee's work. I'll do my best to represent Davidson in the highest regard."
The committee consists of six members and deals with issues related to the ongoing operations of Division I wrestling.
