Sullivan Signs with Hebeisen White Wings; News & Notes

Ranked second on Davidson's all-time list for 3-pointers made, Brian Sullivan '16 recently signed his first professional contract with the Hebeisen White Wings of the German Pro A League... Sullivan, who transferred from University of Miami (Ohio) following his freshman season, finished his collegiate career with 351 3-pointers and 1,565 points.
Former two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year and Davidson standout De'Mon Brooks '14, has signed a one-year contract with medi Bayreuth (BBL/Germany)… Last season, Brooks played in the Italian League for Basket Tortona, where he averaged 15.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists… Brooks finished his four-year career ranked seventh on Davidson's all-time scoring list and sixth in rebounds.
Tyler Kalinoski '15 recently signed to play in Greece's top league for Apollon Patras… Last season the 2015 A-10 Player of the Year made his professional debut for France's Elan Chalon… As a rookie, Kalinoski averaged 7.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists, while shooting just under 40 percent from long range and 82.8 percent at the free-throw line.
Jake Cohen '13, who ranks among Davidson's all-time leaders in points, rebounds, blocks and career starts, recently signed with Maccabi Ashdod of the Israeli Winner League… Last season, the 6-10 forward played for Aris in the Greek A1 league, where he averaged 5.6 points and 3.4 rebounds in 37 games… Cohen, like Brooks, was a two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year.
Chris Czerapowicz '14, also a member of Davidson's 1,000-point club, has agreed on terms with Miasto Szkla Krosno of the Polish Premier League… The Gothenburg, Sweden native played the previous two seasons with the Sodertalje Kings, averaging 12.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 41 games.
53 of head coach Bob McKillop's former players have gone on to play professional basketball.
Entering College on a High Note
Incoming freshman Jon Axel Gudmundsson was named to the 2016 FIBA U20 European Championship Division B All-Tournament Team after leading Iceland to a runner-up finish… In the championship game against Montenegro, Gudmundsson led both teams with 23 points to go along with 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
Non-Conference Schedule Note
In addition to battling Clemson in the opening round of the 2016 Puerto Rico Tipoff, Davidson's non-conference schedule will include a game at North Carolina (Dec. 7) and a Dec. 17 meeting against Kansas at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.. The Wildcats' entire non-conference schedule and conference slate will be announced at a later date.
