Priority Points System
Entering the 2008-09 academic year, Davidson College Athletics has implemented a Priority Points System to assist in managing men’s basketball ticket allocations. This system will allow us to allocate limited numbers of tickets in a fair, efficient, and objective manner to best serve all of Davidson’s constituencies. Points are awarded to recognize individual’s commitment to Davidson as season tickets holders, alumni, employees, and donors.
An individual’s point total is calculated using the formula outlined in the table below. (Spouses’ points are combined and assigned to both individuals.) Priority point totals will be used to make the following ticket allocations and assignments:
- Assignment of Belk Arena seating for new ticket applications.
- Determination of an individual’s eligibility to purchase post season tournament tickets
- Assignment of seats for post season tournament games
- Allocation of tickets for road and neutral site men’s basketball games.
