What does it mean to you to be a Davidson student athlete?
It is an honor. I’ve grown as a person, player, and leader thanks to Davidson athletics. It’s been such a great experience that I’ve encouraged my little brother to follow in my footsteps and play soccer here. He begins classes in the fall.
What is unique to you about being a Davidson student athlete?
The opportunity to excel in a top academic environment and a Division I athletic program. One experience that I know does not happen at other places occurred when we flew back from playing UCLA and UCSB, two nationally ranked teams. We arrived in Charlotte at 6:30 am, made it back to campus an hour later, and much of the team went straight to their 8:30 classes.
What would you like to say to donors who make your experience possible?
I couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you very much.
If you could talk to all the alumni members of your team to motivate them for the Wildcat Top 21, what would you say?
It’s vital to support the athletic programs that did so much for us. Giving back validates the importance of our experience while supporting future Davidson soccer players and moving the program in a positive direction.
