What does it mean to you to be a Davidson student athlete?
The opportunity to receive an excellent education while participating in NCAA Division I athletics. Davidson student athletes get to compete at the highest level on the field and in the classroom.
What is unique to you about being a Davidson student athlete?
The encouragement coaches give you to be the best you can be in all aspects of life. They are invested in your growth as a person, not just as an athlete. I have really appreciated their support in all my endeavors, whether it is another Davidson sport or my history thesis.
What would you like to say to donors who make your experience possible?
Thank you! Davidson athletics has provided me with a wonderful extended family, and that would not have been possible without your support. I have overcome challenges and learned so much through my participation in Davidson athletics—I can’t thank you enough.
If you could talk to all the alumni members of your team to motivate them for the Wildcat Top 21, what would you say?
Every day is a great day to be a Wildcat and that continues beyond graduation. The meaningful experience you had with Track and Field is something you can be proud of for the rest of your life. Through your support, a future Wildcat can create their own amazing memories on Irwin Belk track. You paved the way on the track, and now you have the opportunity to pave the way for other students with the privilege of calling themselves members of the Davidson Track and Field team. Let’s make it possible.
