What does it mean to you to be a Davidson student athlete?
The Davidson athletic community is all-encompassing. I love how everyone at the college is entirely supportive of every athletic team, whether it is the professors, fellow students, or other athletes. Being a Davidson student athlete has provided me with a valuable set of tools that will apply all throughout my life. I’ve learned time management, teamwork, dedication, and commitment as a result of my time here playing field hockey. I consider myself privileged to be a part of such a special community.
What is unique to you about being a Davidson student athlete?
It is very unique to be involved in a Division I program at such an intimate school. It’s very special to see the competitiveness of each program and how Davidson College athletics continues to thrive.
What would you like to say to donors who make your experience possible?I cannot express how grateful I am to those who make my experience here possible. I would not be where I am today without you. Being on the Davidson Field Hockey team has been among the most rewarding experiences of my life. Thank you!
If you could talk to all the alumni members of your team to motivate them for the Wildcat Top 21, what would you say?
I would encourage them to donate so that others may be fortunate enough to share the same opportunities and experiences we’ve been so lucky to be a part of.
